Fall Season Premier

So you may have noticed my blogging diminished for a week or two...

This was partially due to having way to much school stuff going on but mostly is was due to that sad part of thee year where all of you summer shows end and there is absolutely nothing to watch for 2 or 3 weeks.

Fortunately, that time has passed and all of my favorite shows have come back on! I have not been able to watch them on real time so thank god for On Demand. Without this I would fail out of school I would probably still be watching my shows and get nothing done.

So, whats one of my favorite shows that recently started recently?

This cast is hilarious and I have grown to love watching them both on and off screen. I suggest watching to show and each of their social media sites. Lamorne Morris who plays Winston is great on Vine.

Newsroom!

Newsroom Original Intro

Love this intro!

I've been watching Newsroom on HBO since the very first episode. Newsroom is considers and American Political Drama. Although I am not a huge fan of politics this is such a great show. Last night I could not refresh my twitter page fast enough. Tweets poured in with fans sharing how much they love the show!

The reason I like it is because it gives you an inside look to real life events in our history. The topics they cover in the show are the most scandalous and important stories shown on the news; such as the oil spill, the killing of Osama Bin Laden, the presidential elections, political scandals, Gabrielle Gifford's story and more.

Its not all historical events and politics though. There are some really dynamic relationships formed with the characters which play into why the show has such good ratings. One of the core relationships is between Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) and MacKenzie Morgan (Emily Mortimer). The two dated for several years until MacKenzie cheated on Will. Will has never been able to forgive her. After several years of not contacting each other MacKenzie gets a job a the executive producer at News Night. I wont share to much but I'm sure you can only imagine where the relationship goes from this point on.

There are some other great characters to check out as well. Sloan Sabbith (Olivia Munn) and Neal Sampat (Dev Patel) start the show with small roles but soon turn into lovable and irreplaceable figures in the storyline. They are two of my favorite characters.

You should all definitely watch next time! 

Lorde - Royals (US Version)

I love this song and this chicks voice is beautifully unique. I was really surprised to find out Ella Yelich-O'Connor, better known as Lorde, is only 16 years old. Lorde is from New Zealand and to date she has only played ten shows which makes her quick shoot to fame so surprising.  I definitely see Lorde becoming a huge music sensation all over the world.

**SPOILER ALERT** Pretty Little Liars Summer Season Finale

On Aug 27th, ABC Family played the summer season finale of Pretty Little Liars. There has been a lot of hype leading up to this episode. Obsessed girls from all over the world were following the cast on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more. 

Whats really great about all of the social media sites we have access to is the way it forms a community. Fans are able to communicate with each other and the stars of the show instantly. The PLL stars Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario  tweeted and instagramed in anticipation of the season finale. We all knew something big was going to happen. 
Just ten minutes before the show began Shay Mitchell (who plays Emily) tweeted, "What do you think is tonight's big reveal?!?!?! I can keep A secret :) #PLLayWithShay #WorldWarA"  1,421 twitter followers retweeted her comment.
Just a few minutes later the PLL twitter page tweeted, "RT if you are DYING to watch the PLL summer finale tonight at 8/7c on @ABCFamily!!!!!"

Common hash-tags used throughout the hour long episode were #WorldWarA and #PLLATTChat (which was used to chat with Lucy hale) The most surprising hash-tag of the night by a long shot was #EzrA

Yep that's right, Ezra is A!!! Ezra, who has always been the sexy, sweet, mature, lovable teacher to the girls. Ezra, ex-boyfriend and soul mate to Aria (Lucy Hale)... Now, maybe I get a little to attached to the characters to my favorite TV shows but I literally felt like I was going to throw up when I watch it all unravel. I was heartbroken and fans were going crazy! How could someone who we had all grown to love turn out to be soo crazy?! It was a never ending question in the girl world...

Even for me I think half of the PLL fans seem a little over dramatic about it all saying things like

The other half of fans began to rationalize how Ezra could be A. I wont lie, I was one of the fans that read the link below and thought "WTF he really is A!"

Soo in the end maybe this is just another twist in the show. Maybe Ezra was only in A's lair to help Aria. There are a lot of theories going around and until the Halloween episode on Oct. 22 we just wont know for sure. However it turns out, this show definitely put a little bit of excitement in my week. Except I did say that, and I totally meant it!

Not only do I love TV, I love entertainment news! I'm such a girl, I know, but this stuff seriously intrigues me. To me, my life is very ordinary. There isn't anything too special. No one would ever hide behind a bush to take pictures of me, no one would make up scandals rumors that I am having Channing Tatum's love child and no one is ever going to see me on TV.... Okay, maybe I shouldn't say never but most likely I am never going to be see on TV. 

If I could pick any job in the world I would for sure want to be a talk show host! I love watching Ellen Degeneres! She's awesome but I also really like watching E News and Kelly and Micheal! Kelly and Michael together are just hilarious. I started watching the show when it was Regis and Kathie Lee... Sooo old... My favorite radio personality is Ryan Seacrest. He probably has one of the coolest jobs ever, being the host of American Idol!
I am always curious about how these people got their start. How do you get to that point??? Its and unanswered question.

So basically, my blog is going to have weekly posts and I am just going to talk a little bit about what has happened that week in the entertainment world. Obviously, I should not be anyone's first source for any information because some of the things I talk about could very well be really old news to you. This is just going to be stuff that I find interesting and want to write about.

You will definitely notice in weeks to come that there is a wide range in what I enjoy, when it comes to TV, movies, music, celebrities etc. Some things I have very strong opinions on and some things I don't get as heated up about. Hopefully, at the end of the semester you guys will have a  pretty clear view of who I am and why I enjoy this so much.

One thing I would like to try to do when writing and viewing is to compair my thoughts and feelings about this to the way people express their feelings on social media sites. I want to keep up with other people and what they are saying about this weeks entertainment. I hope I can keep up!
